KZN
Regional 4x4 Challenge Series
You are invited to Join Halfway Toyota at a day of 4x4
fun and excitement on Sunday 11th April 20210. It’s the second
round of the
KZN 4x4 Challenge Series.
A 4x4 challenge is an off-roaders dream comes true. As
a spectator you will witness 4x4’s of all shapes and sizes going over
obstacles that one would never ever believe possible. The event is split
into 2 classes, open class and the standard class.
In the open class, virtually anything goes, from rear
wheel steering to Hydraulic self leveling suspension with front and rear
diff-locks. These competitors have absolutely no fear and will attempt to
score points in almost impossible situations.
The standard class on the other hand is a class
consisting of standard type production vehicles that we can all identify
with.
Although the 12 obstacles that they attempt are not
quite as radical as the open class, one will get to see first hand just
exactly what a standard production 4x4 is really capable of doing. This
class is often the most popular with spectators and promises to be an eye
opener to all.
The competition kicks off at 09h00 and carry’s on until
all 12 obstacles have been attempted by each competitor, which is usually
around 16h00.
Food and refreshment’s will be served on the day.
Entry fee is R15 for adults and R10 for under 16.
How to get there.
From the N2 take the Umzinto /Park Rynie off ramp and
turn towards Umzinto. Follow the signs for approximately 4 kilometers.

I recently ran an article
on internet fraud on both the website as well as Traction. I'm a bit
unsure if this was of any use to our members out there as I received no
feedback on the subject. In spite of this, I still believe that there
is a need to educate our previously "technically disadvantaged" members out
there as many of the older crowd in our club that merrily surf the internet
totally unaware of the dangers that lurk out there in cyberspace. How
many of us have made purchases over the past six months on line with our
credit cards as the goods we were buying was so unbelievably cheap?
There may be a sinister reason for these attractive prices and that is to
collect your credit card details.
Don't know how many
of you are aware of this difference
The main difference between http:/// and
https:// is It's all about keeping you
secure** HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol.
The S
(big surprise) stands for "Secure"..
If you visit a website or web page, and look at the address in
the web browser, it will likely begin with the following:
http://.
This means that the website is talking to your browser using
the regular 'unsecured language. In other words, it is possible
for someone to "eavesdrop" on your computer's conversation
with the website. If you fill out a form on the website,
someone might see the information you send to that site.
This is why you never ever enter your credit card
number in an http website! But if the web address begins with
https://, that
basically means your computer is talking to the website in a
secure code that no one can eavesdrop on. If a website ever
asks you to enter your credit card information, you should
automatically look to see if the web address begins with
https://.
If it doesn't, You should NEVER enter sensitive
information, such as a credit card number.
Here is a further article
from IT News and some examples I have recently received.
Hoax emails worry South African
internet users

INTERNET
users in South Africa expressed concern over
increasing cases of hoax emails targeted at low
income earners, informing them of winning inexistent
online prizes or inviting them to take up job
offers.
Most of those
emails do not bear names of traceable companies or
telephone contact details, but require the “winners”
or job seekers to deposit cash into the accounts of
the firm allegedly running the purported promotion
for the release of prizes or in the case of
“vacancies,” for the finalization of the offer.
Several email account holders told ITNewsAfrica
that they had received such emails, while some of
them had actually fallen victim to the scam. The
hardest hit towns include Hillbrow, Yeoville,
Braamfontein and the areas surrounding the
Johannesburg Central Business District (CBD).
“Cyber crimes involving hoax emails are on the
increase in South Africa, especially in Hillbrow. I
do not have the statistics off hand, but I have been
a victim of online crime. I saw an online advert
requesting interested people to take up jobs
reserved for Africans in Canada. Upon responding,
one is told to deposit R1 500 electronically,” said
Nixon Majola of Hillbrow.
Nonzolo Mbazima of Yeoville said that she lost
about R500 after an advert falsely advertised that
Sydney, Australia, seeks South African nurses. She
said the advertiser requested her to pay the R500
into their account so that she could be registered
and an air ticket could be issued.
“After depositing the R500, the email address
ceased to operate. My dream of working in Sydney was
shattered,” said Mbazima.
Tinashe Mandebvu of Hillbrow, a Zimbabwean
citizen, said he received several hoax emails. He
mentioned two, one from London stipulating that he
won the jackpot in an online gambling competition
and the second email from Canada stating he needs to
pay R2 000.
Mandebvu said the email from Toronto, Canada,
requested him to deposit R2 000 if he was interested
in taking up a job offer in the country. He said the
email claimed that the money would meet his travel
expenses.
“Upon phoning the Canadian embassy in Pretoria to
verify the authenticity of the offer, I was advised
of the correct procedures to take if I intended to
work in Canada,” he said.
No immediate comment could be obtained from the
police on how the force was hoping to deal with the
situation. —ITNewsAfrica.

RE: Crude Oil Sales Venture Partnership
This proposition is based on negotiating your partnership in a crude
oil sales project with the National Petroleum Agency, (ANP-STP). In
this project, we will register either your company or a joint
company with the operational board unit of the Petroleum Agency;
re-assign an already allocated crude oil sale license to the company
and act as representative of the Petroleum Agency in selling of
crude oil to the end buyers.
With my network in the agency, I have assisted Snitch Services, a
company base in Bermuda and operated by Mr. David Russell to secure
a crude oil sale license allocation in 2005. This license
allocation is for the sale of 120 Million Barrels of Bonny Light
Crude Oil [BLCO] for a total period of 5 years. The license allows
him to sale a maximum of 2 Million barrels of BLCO per
transaction/shipment. Mr. David Russell could not actualize his
dream in this project as he could not find buyers whom will buy the
crude from his allocation on a normal "Free on Board" and did not
have the financial strength to sale on a Cost, Insurance & Freight
[CIF] sales transaction. In the normal FOB sales transaction, the
crude oil buyers normally arrives at the loading port of the seller
with their own vessel to buy the crude while the seller has to buy
or hire a vessel to deliver the crude to the end buyers in a CIF
sales transaction. Mr. David Russell was unfortunately struck by
stroke which made him incapable of involving in active business.
My proposal entails packaging you as the crude oil sales license
beneficiary to Mr. Russell. We would re-assign the sale license to
your company's name. This will give us the mandate of the agency to
act as their crude oil sales agents/representative. The
re-assignment of the crude oil sale license allocation your company
will give us the privilege to operate as first lifters/sellers of
crude oil from the block. This attracts a US$2.00 discount per
barrel. This $2.00 discount per barrel is our commissions from the
agency. Example: The prize of the product per barrel is presently
$78.00. We will receive the product from the agency at $76.00 per
barrel and sell to the end buyers on the normal market prize of
$78.00 per barrel thereby making a commission of $2.00 per each
barrel of crude sold to the end buyers. Also being able to get final
buyers entitles us also to a US$1.00 discount from the discount
given to the end buyer as "mandates".
As we are going to be selling a maximum of 2 million barrels per
month from the block, US$2.00 discount from local petroleum agency
sums up to US$4 million per month. And US$1.00 discount from the end
buyer comes to US$2 million per month. This totals to US$6 million
gross coming to our group per transaction/per month. On equity
sharing ratio, both of us will be netting in a cool US$6 Million as
profits monthly. This proceeds known as commissions will be shared
equally on equity between the both of us at the end of every sales
operation month. This implies that we shall both go home with US$3
Million each.
As a staff of the agency, am not officially allowed to operate a
crude oil sales license or engage in any personal profit oriented
crude oil deal under the same agency were I work. This is why I seek
a partner whom I can assist to secure the license and work as a
facilitating partner in arranging for all the sales transaction
between the agency and the end buyers and also ensure that the
commissions from the sales is paid out to my partner in due time.
These commissions we will share equally as equity partners. My
obligations as the facilitating partner is to work from underground
to make sure that the license is transferred to your company's name,
make sure that all the 2 million barrels is completely sold to the
end buyers and also ensure that our commissions is directed to your
company's banking co-ordinates as the license holder. This project
is highly prospective and presently the most legitimate money making
machinery someone can set up.
Please send an email, fax or call me on my private numbers below.
Hoping to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
Respectfully Yours,
James Morrison.
