Noggins July 2010

 It came as a great shock to hear about Farouk Suliman’s passing away this week, we knew we could always rely on him for assistance, no matter what, he was at every club meeting or outing and will be sadly missed. Our condolences to his family, our best wishes and prayers are with you.

 Last Noggins was held at the Kranskloof Nature Reserve Interpretative Centre and unfortunately on the coldest day of the year, rain and all. We must thank Bridgestone for a very informative talk on tyres.

 To the members who turned up, all wrapped up in their winter woolies, many thanx. The venue was perfect and we hope to make use of it again soon but will have to wait for better weather.

 This month we are going back to our trusty stalwart, the ECCC Club house and Kevin Govender will be running a slide show on his recent trip to Botswana, Zambia and Namibia. In other words, a lekker JOL.

 To those of you who haven’t been there, this is about the most sociable meeting place we have found yet, lots of car memorabilia, pics, and stories. We are parked behind a high fence with a security guard in attendance, the braai facilities are ample and the beer is plentiful and cold.

 

The only thing up to our members is the turnout, come on join us.
